When all is said and done, I want to say,
"I can't believe I did that! "
rather than
"If only I had."

Just had another conference with Carlos about the hike.
He and Adriana are excited to get going and have their gear ready. This is their first long-distance through hike, and to do it in a foreign country must add to the thrill.
Having just completed a through-hike in Spain with Deb, I am excited to do another with my son and granddaughter.
So having had a three year hiking drought due to Covid, I am making up for it with long distance hikes with my partner (Spain) and my son & granddaughter (Ireland).
Random Thought of the Day
Continuing to build up endurance.
I am blending a mix of yoga, weight training (for the legs), some track/swimming and pickleball.
Physical Therapy is an important part of my routine for flexibility and balance.
I feel like having just hiked the Camino Madrid (220 miles in 16 days) the past month has me in relatively good shape already. So most of my training is for maintenance and toning.
