Meaningful Moment
Stepping on the bus in Killarney with Carlos and Adriana, as the realization came over me, what a fantastic time we had hiking the mountains of southwestern Ireland, and looking forward to the enjoyment of one and a half days of downtime in Dublin.
Random Thought of the Day
As we three ride the bus from Killarney through Limerick, and Kildare on the way to Dublin, I see how much more mountainous the Iveragh peninsula is compared to the center of Ireland.
Another long day on transportation. Just under a 1 hour ride from Glenbeigh to Killarney. Followed by a 6-hour ride from Killarney to Dublin.
On the Road / Notable memories
8:00 am. Bus from Glenbeigh to Killarney
8:45 am. Arrive Killarney. Wandered around a mall and had breakfast.
11:30 am. Leave Killarney.
5:00 pm. Arrive Dublin. An hour late but no big deal because we did not have big plans. :-) flexibility matters.
6:00 pm. Supper
8:00 pm. Walking around Trinity college, Starbucks, and the Temple district
10:00pm. I'm done. Back to hotel and a short workout session.
On the bus to Dublin, sat next to a very nice gentleman and we talked about hiking, about his and my travels to Spain, about his travels to New York and lots of other interesting topics.
Lol Adriana and Carlos are dragging me around Dublin's Temple bar district which is all the clubs, bars, watering holes, night scenes and that kind of thing with live loud music in every place.
