Meaningful Moment
The idea that I seen to be missing something.
Most likely, I am burned out on hiking.
Maybe I don't want to go on alone after Sunday when Carlos and Adriana return to the USA.
Maybe I need a new challenge and I've reached the point of repeating past adventures.
Random Thought of the Day
So many people are stuck in their bubble they don't realize everything that's out there. -- Carlos
Some hikers we met on the trail of my age were impressed with Adriana being out here and enjoying the hike and it made them think that they want to bring their grandkids.
Adriana thought that today's mountain was not as hard as initially thought, but not to say that it wasn't hard.
On the Road / Notable memories
Today had a variety of trail conditions.
- Stony mountain climbing and descents, jumping from rock to rock to maintain balance.
- Crossing valleys of fern on a path nearly a foot wide as the fern kept brushing the legs.
- A deep green forest of pines, a rarity so far.
- Sheep pastures, lying on mountainside grasslands
