Total All Caminos: 1687 miles Lodging: Sunset B&B @ $ 90 Total Lodging: $ 725 Total Buses / Trains: $ 245 Food: $ 40 Total Food: $ 256 Meaningful Moment Skellig Islands Sea Cruise It was nice being on the ocean in the swells and troughs. According to the captain, these were six to nine foot waves. Lots of sea salt sprayed in the face. And of course, the Skellig islands were beautiful. Wish I could have done the landing excursion cruise. But I couldn't make the timing work what with hiking. Random Thought of the Day Lots to talk about today. Have repeatedly tried to get a hold of the Skellig Lodge and Hostel in Balliskellig. They don't answer the phone or answer emails. They are perfectly situated for my next stop. Tomorrow is "Go" Day

Tomorrow We Depart for Ireland Date Aug 12, 2022 Total All Caminos: 1620 miles Names for various parts of the Iveragh Peninsula trail system. 1. Kerry Way 2. Ring of Kerry 3. Wild Atlantic Way Meaningful Moment Took Adriana and Jayden out for a Burger King run and a Starbuck's run. Then we did a check-thru of Carlos' and Adriana's backpacks. All is looking good. Finalized some equipment needs. Completed the American Airlines on-line check-in procedures. Just like on my last trip to Spain, we could not check-in on-line for the international portion of the flight, so we will get that done tomorrow at the gate when we turn in my backpack for baggage check-in. I believe that both Carlos' and Adriana's backpacks should qualify for carry-on. Random Thought of the Day The peregrine falcon watchers (of which I am one) from the Genesee Valley Audubon Society are having a get-together tomorrow. Maybe I need a new challenge and I've reached the point of repeating past adventures.
