Meaningful Moment

Almost home. Very calm about it. Tomorrow morning I start going back into the routine.

Random Thought of the Day

Too tired to do a wrap-up. I'll save that for when I've rested a bit.

On the Road / Notable memories

8:30 a.m. alarm goes off and I'm still in bed.
9:30 a.m. leave for airport .
9:45 a.m. at airport.
10:15 a.m. through check-in and airport security.
11:30 a.m. cleared US Customs and Immigration
12:30 p.m. boarded plane to JFK
2:30 p.m. touchdown at JFK
6:00 p.m. takeoff for Rochester.
7:30 p.m. arrive Rochester

I got to Shannon airport early because I don't like surprises and I don't like being in long queues or being rushed.

So I have about 2 hours to kill at the airport.

No problems at Shannon.

At JFK on time.

The rest is history.

Coming home

At JFK

We had a gorgeous view of the area on approach.
Pilot approached from the south and over Irondequoit Bay, then banked north of downtown for the approach.

Downtown on approach

Carlos took a photo of my plane on approach

Adriana took this photo of my plane arriving
