The Kerry Way is a 133 mile trail that is a hiking version of the Ring of Kerry in County Kerry, Ireland. Beginning and ending in the town of Killarney, the trail circles the Iveragh Peninsula and is part of the National Waymarked Trail system of Ireland.

Meaningful Moment
Some time back, I don't remember exactly how it came about, but my granddaughter - Adriana - put the idea forward of her and I hiking together in Ireland. Then as we were talking with her parents, she talked her dad (my son) into coming along. Having a strong desire to see Ireland, he readily agreed.

Random Thought of the Day
Tickets are booked for our flight from Rochester to Newark International, and from there to Dublin, Ireland.
On arrival, early in the morning of the next day, we will catch the bus from center city Dublin to the town of Killarney on the Iveragh Peninsula. We will rest for the remainder of the day, and then start out the next morning.
